Our Beliefs and Denomination

  • Our Beliefs

What The Alliance believes about God, how He relates to us, and how we relate to Him is foundational in its teachings. The Alliance wholeheartedly serves God and the people of His world, based soundly on the Bible. We live and die by these words and believe they bring the only life worth living—one wholly committed to the King Jesus.

  • Our Denomination

The Christian and Missionary Alliance is a Bible-believing, Christ-centered denomination that was founded in 1887 by Dr. A.B. Simpson. We believe in Jesus as our Savior, Sanctifier, Healer, and Coming King and are committed to completing the Great Commission - which is to take the Gospel to the ends of the earth. Currently the C&MA has over 2,400 churches in the United States and Canada that minister to 474,000 believers. One quarter of these churches are intercultural. The C&MA also has 850 missionaries in 58 countries around the world that serve 11,000 churches with a combined 1.8 million people.
